What our community is saying

Our Founder’s Story

Our founder, Linia White, deeply understands the need for an organization like Living Spaces and Love. Realized alongside her wife of seven years, Linia has personally experienced the trials and tribulations that come with survival, proper mental health, and navigating a same-sex relationship as a woman.

Even as an adult, survival and stability can be difficult. Lack of family support as an adolescent due to identifying as an LGBTQ person can lead to a rocky road to stability. School, career, and housing are no longer a guarantee and can suddenly seem unmanageable. This goes for anyone who has been left without a support system—whether you are a single mother, widowed person, or a survivor of domestic abuse.
